6 Details That Get You a Faster Lab Quotation

Product code, quantity, delivery city, GSTIN, documents and contact preference — the six details that turn a request into a quotation in one round.

6 Details That Get You a Faster Lab Quotation

Most delays in lab purchasing happen before the quotation is even prepared — because a detail is missing and the supplier has to ask. Include these six details and you can usually get pricing in a single round.

1. Exact product code

The manufacturer’s catalogue number (for example M7422 or 430641U) removes all guesswork about pack size, grade and format. If you only have a product name, share a photo of the label or the datasheet.

2. Quantity and pack size

State how many units you need and whether you expect repeat orders. Volume and annual requirements often unlock better slab pricing.

3. Delivery city and timeline

Freight, cold-chain packaging and lead time all depend on where the goods are going and how soon you need them.

4. Billing details and GSTIN

Share the institution name, billing address and GST number so the quotation can be issued correctly the first time — this matters for inter-state supply, where IGST applies.

5. Documentation you need

Mention COA, datasheets, calibration certificates or installation support upfront if your department requires them.

6. Preferred contact

Tell us whether you prefer email or WhatsApp for the quotation and follow-ups.

Use the Quote Cart on our website — add products, set quantities and send everything in one message via WhatsApp, email or the detailed form.

What happens next

  1. Our team checks specification and availability.
  2. You receive a formal quotation with unit price and taxes shown separately.
  3. Once you confirm, the order is scheduled for dispatch — typically 2–4 weeks after confirmation.
